Jack Henderson
Chairman & CEO
Jack was one of the original founders of Commtest in the late 1980s and remains one of the largest shareholders. Commtest was originally an offshoot of Dynamic Controls, the world leader in speed controls for motorized wheelchairs. Jack's passion is for Commtest to be the world leader in products and services to the Global industrial market and to achieve this by focusing on providing value leading initiatives designed to get the job done
Jack serves as Chairman of the board and as Commtest's Chief Executive Officer focusing on market research and strategic sales.

John Cochrane
Managing Partner, COO
John Cochrane joined Commtest in 1997 as Commtest's first US employee. John's responsibility included all Commtest USA operations from packing shipments, managing advertising, to negotiating OEM supply contracts. In 1999, John relocated to Christchurch New Zealand and considers New Zealand his permanent home.
Prior to joining Commtest, John worked in the semiconductor industry as a process engineer, in quality improvement, as a certified hazardous materials emergency responder, as a sales manager for a construction firm negotiating and managing construction and renovation of commercial properties.
In May 2000, Commtest appointed him General Manager. John directed product development and managed Commtest's international sales channels. In recent years, John was instrumental in establishing Commtest's offices in both the USA and China.
In January 2008, John was named a Managing Partner and is responsible for North Asia and Americas operations.

Kevin Deverell
Director, Channel Development
Kevin joined Commtest in 2007 as our Regional Manager for Canada. In this role Kevin combined his 20 years of experience in product sales and marketing with his advanced expertise in the Vibration Analysis market and his drive for excellence in product knowledge, technical applications, and customer service.
Later in 2007, Kevin was promoted to the position of Director of Operations and relocated to our Knoxville, Tennessee office. Under Mr. Deverell's leadership, Commtest prospered throughout North America as new products were developed and introduced to an ever-broadening customer base.
Since that time, Commtest has continued to evolve and, in 2009, Kevin was named Director of Channel Development. He is responsible for managing the profit center of Commtest Authorized Channel Partners in North America, South America, and South Africa - his native homeland. In this role, Kevin's focus is to expand and develop the Channel Partners' network including the advancement of the management team that oversees local Channel Partners.
Prior to joining Commtest, Kevin was President of RCM Technical, Inc., where he led corporate business development and new client online monitoring systems. He was involved in exploring joint venture opportunities with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the automotive and steel industries. He also managed a diverse project portfolio including market analysis studies and online monitoring systems with product feasibility profiles. Kevin spearheaded a Reliability team to provide services within these industries.

Jim Seifer
Director, Corporate Solutions
Jim Seifer joined the Commtest management team in 2008 as the Northeast Regional Manager in North America. In January of 2009, Jim was named Director of Corporate Solutions for North America. In this role Jim is responsible building and developing durable relationships with major corporate accounts in North America.
Prior to joining Commtest, Jim gained 15 years of Sales Management experience at General Electric, Olympus America, and Premier Industrial in the non-destructive testing and maintenance supplies markets. Jim became a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional in June 2009.
Jim shares a common goal with his team of Corporate Solutions Specialists: To Create Lasting Value in the major corporate accounts by providing a combination of world class products, software and services to meet our customers' condition monitoring needs.

Mike Howard
Director, Customer Success
Mike "Howie" Howard brings over 14 years of Maintenance and Reliability, manufacturing, quality, leadership, business management and engineering experience to his role as Director of Customer Success for Commtest. Over the years, Mike has grown his industry knowledge and expertise through serving in a variety of capacities including: Journeyman Reconnaissance Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force, Reliability Engineer, Maintenance and Reliability Manager and Plant Manager.
Mike's real-world experiences developed far more than a theoretical understanding of Maintenance and Reliability, they ignited a passion for ongoing education in best practice and innovation. Mike knows what really works and he has used that knowledge to underpin several co-authored papers with other noted thought leaders. This practical application experience has also enabled Mike to be a valuable contributor to Commtest's continuous product enhancements and new product development.
Mike is a sought after presenter and facilitator nationally on the topics of PdM technology deployment and program sustainability success. He is an active member of the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP), having served on the Board of Directors as the Director of Improved Member Services.
Mike is a certified Level II Vibration Analyst; a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP); a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt; AAs - Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology; BSc - Business with a concentration in Leadership; and an MSc/eMBA with a concentration in Organization & Management and specific focus in Change Management.

Rod Acklin
Product Manager, Vibration
Regional Manager, EuropeRod Acklin has been associated with Commtest since our inception in the early 1990s working with one of Commtest's key products at the time, the Profiler. In the late 1990s, when Commtest moved into Vibration Analysis, Rod also was involved with the development of the vb1, Commtest's first vibration analysis instrument.
Since early 2009, Rod has served as Commtest's Product Manager for Vibration, and is also responsible for a select group of key accounts Worldwide for Commtest. Rod focuses his energy and talents on Product Development, feedback from our Customers, and producing Technical Papers.
Before joining Commtest, Rod has worked as a Design and Application Engineer for approximately 20 years with experience in the Market Verticals that Commtest services including Wind Energy, Mining, Pharmaceuticals, Paper, Chemical, Transportation, Aerospace and Defense to name a few. Rod has an Electrical Engineering background and also has formal training in Project Management and Contract Review and Management.
Rod's additional experience involves long-term engagements with customers in qualifying Global vendors, Process Mapping, and initiating Condition Monitoring Programs. Rod also has facilitated Kaizan events and participated in ISO Certification Auditing teams. Prior to being involved with the Analysis and Diagnostics of Rotating Equipment, Rod ran a production facility in Northeast Ohio.
Rod is an ISO Category II Vibration Analyst, a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and also holds a MSHA (Mining Safety and Health Act) Certification. Rod has a passion for Reliability and works to create lasting value for all Commtest stakeholders.
