Adapter Universal
The Commtest universal power adapter has automatic switching to detect 110 or 220 V power from the mains power outlet. Input ranges from 100-240 V AC with a 12 VDC, 3A output. This universal power adapter is suitable for the Commtest vbSeries and vbClassic instruments.
WARNING! Using a power supply other than the one provided by Commtest will damage your instrument and void your warranty. The power plug and cable must be purchased separately for connection to the mains. Vibration Listening Amplifier
The Commtest vibration listening amplifier enables you to easily hear the vibration signal directly from the accelerometer while collecting vibration data. Now you can clearly hear clicks, as well as scrapes and noises not easily seen in the data. This enables you to identify poorly lubricated bearings. Confirm that grease reaches the bearings during lubrication and constantly check the integrity of your accelerometer cable. Adapt to any measurement system without affecting calibration. The Vibration Listening Amplifier comes with a BNC-to-BNC interface cable to connect to the data collector, wraparound headset for listening, and a BNC T adapter.

Strobe Cable
Connect your Commtest instrument to a strobe light for measuring speed on a rotating component. This cable is intended for use with vbClassic instruments. However, it is also compatible with vbX instruments (vb5 and higher) when used with part number CBPT0233 (also called the pigtail) to connect to the strobe. That said, vbX instrument owners should typically use the CABS0406, which does not require an additional pigtail cable.

Accelerometer Coiled Cable
This Commtest coiled cable comes standard with a Commtest portable instrument. The Commtest introduction of a revolutionary breakaway safety connection feature quickly became an industry standard. You can use the coiled accelerometer cable with your portable instrument to collect data. The coiled cable stretches to 6 ft (1.8 m) and retracts to a comfortable length for carrying. The cable has a standard 2 pin mil style connector for the accelerometer and BNC connector for the instrument.

Carry Bag Instrument
The black Commtest polyester bag is used for storing new vbSeries and vbClassic instruments. This carry bag is suitable for carrying your Commtest instrument and accessories.
The bag consists of a lined main compartment and a removable divider attached to the inside with Velcro. It bag has three outside pockets, two on the side and one on the front. The side pockets are held in place with Velcro and are perfect for carrying extra cables, accelerometers, and power supplies. The front zippered pocket has room for manuals, warranty cards, and quality assurance information. The bag closes with a plastic spring clip and has an adjustable shoulder carrying strap.

Accelerometer Magnetic Base
This strong rare earth two pole magnet is suitable for mounting an accelerometer on a machine for portable instruments.
The magnet comes with a magnet keeper (solid disk or washer) that needs to be removed before taking a reading. Exercise caution when replacing the magnet keeper or attaching the magnet to a machine. Fingers can easily be caught between the magnet and the machine.

Accelerometer Straight Cable
This black straight cable comes standard in the balancing kit and can be used where a coiled cable cannot be used, or as an alternative if the coiled cable is damaged. BNC to two pin Mil style connector meets the industry standard and fits most accelerometers. When used in multichannel data collection or balancing, the color coded red or green cable termination enables easy identification.

The rings are attached to the side rails of the instrument. This is a safety feature designed as a 10kg safety release by the rings. The strap must not be connected directly to the instrument. Connect the safety strap to the rings.
