How Do I Renew My AscentView License?
QUESTION
I have installed the AscentView v2.0 software, but the software's license has expired. How do I renew it?
ANSWER
Open your copy of AscentView. At the bottom of the logon page you will see three links: 'Logon', 'Clear' and 'Upgrade'
Click the 'Upgrade' link and your email application will open. An email message will be automatically generated with its subject line already populated (the subject line will contain your network adaptor's MAC address, so must not be changed).
Type the details of your upgrade request into the email message body including your company name and the number of users requested for the license, then send the email.
Following processing of your request, you will be sent a .avl extension file. This file must be copied into the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\AscentView\ folder; or whichever folder your AscentView software is currently being served from. Once the file has been copied, you may re-start AscentView and continue using it as normal.
