Tachometer Display

Tachometer Display shows an updating readout of the machine speed. It can also display the amplitude and phase angle of the 1X vibration on vb7 and vb8 models. This can be used to:

  1. Verify the machine running speed
  2. View the phase angle of the vibration relative to the tach signal
  3. Take a quick preview of the 'out of balance' level
  • Connect the tachometer that will be used to measure the RPM. Attach a vibration sensor if you wish to see the vibration amplitude.
  • From the Main Menu press Measure then press Tach.
  • Select the Standard tachometer or Keyphasor® sensor by pressing . The Tachometer Reading Menu will display a continuously updating RPM and the equivalent value in Hz.
