ANSWER
vb5™, vb6™, vb7™, vb8™, vbBalancer™ and vbBalancer+™ instruments use a 520 MHz, 32-bit CPU running Windows CE to provide the friendly user-interface, charting, data storage and comms. Signal processing is implemented by an Analog Devices BlackFin DSP running at 400 MIPS.
vb1000™, vb2000™ and vb3000™ instruments with serial numbers 11500 and higher have a DSP running at 80 MIPS. vb instruments with lower serial numbers run at 28 MIPS.
