  • Dennis H. Shreve, CMRP

    Dennis H. Shreve, CMRP

    Dennis H. Shreve holds B.E.E. and M.Sc. E.E. degrees from The Ohio State University, with specialization in high-speed data communications.

    He has 40 years of experience in designing and developing electronics and software systems and leading projects for real-time industrial process monitoring and control applications. Over the past 21 years, he has specialized in predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies and vibration detection, analysis, and correction methods for maintaining machinery health.

    Dennis is certified by Technical Associates as a Level III Vibration Analyst, and he is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional. He is an active member of several professional societies, including Vibration Institute, SMRP, ISA, and I.E.E.E., where he has written several articles and conducted public seminars. Dennis is currently employed with Commtest Inc. as Channel Support Engineer for the Channel Partner Sales organization.

     

     

  • Mark F. Vowell, CMRP

    Mark F. Vowell, CMRP

    Mark F. Vowell holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has 17 years experience in the Vibration Industry and is a Vibration Institute Level III Vibration Analyst.

    Mark has managed a remote-analysis vibration technical group and Test Engineering department as well as served as a Services Engineer.

    In his career with Commtest, Mr. Vowell has filled many capacities, including: Support Engineer, assisting in developing materials and delivering Training for software and hardware products and is an Applications Engineer. Currently, Mark serves as the Senior Customer Success Engineer.

  • Ron Rock

    Ron Rock

    Ron Rock holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has 20 years of experience in designing and implementing Condition Monitoring programs and is a certified Vibration Level I and II. Ron served in the United States Air Force as well as the Ohio National Guard, and now works with the Commtest Customer Success Team.

     

     

  • Troy Broussard

    Troy Broussard

    A graduate of Lamar University, Mr. Broussard has 21 years of experience in the reliability engineering and condition monitoring field. Mr. Broussard spent 9 years of his career with 2 of the largest reliability monitoring equipment manufacturers in the U.S. and 4 years of it as an integral member of the reliability monitoring team for one of the largest refineries in the U.S. Mr. Broussard became an independent consultant in 2001 and started Cascade Analytic in 2003. Mr. Broussard has significant experience in implementing sustainable reliability and condition based monitoring programs including all PdM technologies and has used Commtest equipment since 2003.

  • Ivo Dabelic

    Ivo Dabelic

    Mr. Dabelic graduated with Marine Engineering Diesel as well as Steam Plant diplomas. Ivo brings a plethora of experience to the Commtest team including over 30 years of design, repair, and troubleshooting of the power equipment, prime movers and auxiliary/ancillary equipment. Ivo takes great pride in solving customer problems, has authored a number of papers, and is a sought after speaker and instructor for vibration, alignment and data interpretation seminars.

  • Emad Bitar

    Emad Bitar

    Emad Bitar has more than 20 years of experience in Condition Monitoring Programs: Application Engineer / Application Manager. Emad's expertise is in Services, Support, implementation and Training with more than 13 years focused experience in the Middle East and with machinery troubleshooting using advanced vibration techniques. Emad is a Certified Trainer for advanced vibration , and Certification of Vibration Analyst I & II from the Vibration Institute (1994). Certified ISO Vibration Analysis CAT III. Emad has authored many technical papers for the Vibration Institute, PdM, Rotate, Uptime, Maintenance Management. He holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tennessee - USA

  • Rodney Acklin, CMRP

    Rodney Acklin, CMRP

    Rod Acklin has worked in industry for 18 years as a Design and Application Engineer, Product Manager, and Project Manager, and previously ran a production facility for 8 years. For the last 13 years, Rod has been specifically involved with design and support of the Commtest family of Reliability Products. Rod is a Vibration Institute Category II Vibration Analyst and has successfully launched many products in the vibration line of instruments and analysis software. Rod is currently the Product Manager, Vibration for Commtest.

  • Mike Howard, CMRP

    Mike Howard, CMRP

    Mike (Howie) is the Director of Customer Success for Commtest Inc. with over 14 years of maintenance and reliability, business management, and engineering experience. Having served in capacities from Journeyman Reconnaissance Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force, to Reliability Engineer, to Maintenance and Reliability Manager, to Plant Manager Mike has not only a theoretical foundational understanding of maintenance and reliability, but also the practical knowledge of "what really works." Mike has authored and co-authored several papers, and presented at several regional and national conferences focusing on the human element of PdM technology deployment and success.

    In addition to experience Mr. Howard holds numerous professional and educational credentials, and is an active member of the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals having served on the Board of Directors as the Director of Improve Member Services. Mike's credentials include Level II Vibration Analyst, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, AAs - Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, BSc - Business with a Concentration in Leadership, and an MSc/eMBA with a concentration in Organization & Management and specific focus in Change Management.

     

  • Shane Smith, CMRP

    Shane Smith, CMRP

    Shane Smith joined the Commtest Customer Success team as a Customer Success Engineer after nearly ten years of hardware and software support and training for multiple global organizations.

    No stranger to maintenance, Shane served honorably as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician on the F-16 Fighting Falcon in the United States Air Force before graduating from ITT Technical Institute with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Networking Systems.

    Shane has achieved various certifications but is most proud of his Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional and ISO category II vibration analyst certificates.

    Chris Keniston, CMRP

    After nearly 14 years in the United States Air Force, Chris decided to focus on his true passion of contributing to the revitalization of industry through sound maintenance and reliability practices by joining the Customer Success Team as a Customer Success Engineer at Commtest.

    With a service record extending from Aerospace Maintenance Journeyman to Senior Maintenance Operations Controller, Chris has extensive practical maintenance and management experience that has proven to be an invaluable resource to Commtest customers throughout the United States.

    Having also served as a Technical Training Instructor, Chris has a proven track record of successfully developing and delivering world-class technical training programs focused on bottom line results through classroom and practical hands on instruction.

    Chris holds numerous academic and professional credentials, including a BSc in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, AAS in Aerospace Systems Maintenance Technology, AAS in Instructor of Technology and Military Science, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, Certified Level 1 Vibration Analyst, and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certification.
